Archiving, Coring, and Dredging ServicesOSU Marine Geology RepositoryLong-term storage of scientific samples in the repository is free of charge, as long as samples fall under the access policies of the repository. Scientific programs pay for archival materials, such as D-tubes or specialized boxes. Most investigators prepare and describe their own materials for storage. The repository also offers to contract a variety of archiving services for investigators who choose not to do their own archiving and describing. The Coring & Dredging Facility at OSU contracts marine geologic sampling services in support of seagoing expeditions, for investigators from any institution or nation.
