The Collection: Searching for and Requesting SamplesOSU Marine Geology Repository
IntroductionThe marine sediment and rock collection at the OSU Marine Geology Repository comes from all oceans. As of 2003 it contains over 13,000 meters of sediment from 5061 cores, more than 14,700 rocks from 509 dredges, 2200 Manganese Nodules and 1537 sediment trap and 693 plankton tow samples. In recent years, we have distributed about 12,000 samples per year to scientists throughout the world.How to Find Samples
